GROWTH AND HARVESTING:
       
Brazilian production is concentrated in the vast Amazon River and its branches.
 
Açai palms grow near the riverbanks. The roots must be flooded each day.
 
The process of harvesting the Açai berry from the tall Açai trees of the Amazon is a labor-intensive and natural process.
 
The berries are extracted from branches by hand.

Storage
The berries are placed into traditional baskets for transport to the mainland.
 
We harvest the freshest and ripest Açai berries.
 
The freshest Açai berries are collected and inspected by buyers to ensure the finest quality for the U.S. market.
   
PROCESSING:            
     
Açai berries are delivered to state of the art processing plants
 
Açai berries are cleaned in three phases to prepare for juice extraction.
 
Juices of various brix levels are pasteurized.
 
Açai juice is packed in new clean metal drums with plastic liners.
